On the other hand, you could put aside a day to learn a new skill in Mooloolaba, one which you have always wanted to master and tick off on your bucket list.

If you want to learn how to surf in Mooloolaba, we have some of the best professional surf instructor’s available right here on our doorstep. Check out Robbie Sherwell xl surfing academy and have surfing lessons with Robbie Sherwells, a pro surfer for 31 years and rated top 5 in the world in his prime.

Then again, maybe you have noticed the two new crazes of stand up paddle boarding and kitesurfing? Well at Ocean Addicts you can learn how to stand up paddleboard, as well as try out the amazing and energetic kitesurfing.
Ocean Addicts have boot camps for stand up paddle boarding early on Monday, Friday and Saturday mornings and guarantee to have you on your feet and paddling in no time! They are also the only fully accredited kitesurfing school on the Sunshine Coast, so you can learn how to do this amazing sport one day and then learn how to stand up paddle board the very next day.

However, if you want to take the day a little slower and enjoy the views, then put aside a few hours and learn how to kayak at the Hire Hut in Mooloolaba. They also conduct kayak tours of the canals and out to the light house and have single and double kayaks for hire.

If you have always dreamt of going crabbing, but have never had the know-how, then fish ‘n crab at Mooloolaba are just the ticket for you. You can book a 3, 4 or 5 hour trip and learn how to prepare and set the traps, haul them up, sort the crabs by size and even cook them on the boat.
